For your Brandtrack Box to play music correctly and be managed remotely, your network must allow access to certain domains and ports.
If any of these accesses are blocked by a firewall or network restrictions, playback interruptions may occur.
Connection for the playback application
The application installed on the Box needs to connect to the following domains:
api.brandtrack.fm
ads.brandtrack.fm
music.brandtrack.fm
music2.brandtrack.fm
music.brandtrack.net
media.brandtrack.fm
help.brandtrack.fm
Required ports
TCP 443 (HTTPS)
TCP 80 (HTTP)
Important:
Make sure your network allows outgoing connections to these domains through the indicated ports.
Device Manager (MDM)
Brandtrack has a Mobile Device Manager (MDM) that allows:
Managing the Boxes.
Installing updates.
Applying performance improvements (fixes).
For it to work properly, access is required to:
URL:
dm.brandtrack.fm
Required ports
TCP 443
TCP/UDP 31000
Time zone update
For the Box to correctly synchronize the time zone, the NTP service must be enabled on the internet output.
Required port
UDP 123
If this port is blocked, the device time may become unsynchronized.
Remote access (TeamViewer)
Brandtrack uses TeamViewer for support and remote access to the Boxes when necessary.
For it to work properly, the following ports must be open:
TCP/UDP 5938
TCP 443
TCP 80
All connections use IPs with PTR records that resolve to *.teamviewer.com.
Important notes
All connections are outgoing.
It is not necessary to open incoming ports on the network.
If your network has restrictive policies, share this information with your IT team.
