Connections Required to Run the Brandtrack App

For the Brandtrack Player App to function properly, the device must meet certain network, hardware, and operating system requirements. This article describes the necessary connections and the recommended minimum specifications for the service to operate.

Network Requirements

The application makes connections to the following domains:

• api.brandtrack.fm

• ads.brandtrack.fm

• music.brandtrack.fm

• music2.brandtrack.fm

• music.brandtrack.net

• media.brandtrack.fm

These connections use the following ports:

• 443 (HTTPS)

• 80 (HTTP)

By default, the application uses HTTPS connections. If there are issues with this protocol, the application will attempt to connect using HTTP.

All connections are made using the TCP protocol.

Device Requirements

Each location where the service is used must have a device to install the Brandtrack Player App.

The device must meet the following minimum specifications:

• RAM: 1 GB or higher

• Free disk space: 16 GB available

• Processor: Intel Dual Core or higher

• Compatible operating system:

  • Windows 10 (64-bit) or higher

  • macOS 10.11 or higher

  • Android 6 or higher

• Stable internet connection (required for initial download and updates)

Additionally, the device must:

• Have a sound card

• Be connected to the audio system of the location where the music will be played

Installation and Storage Requirements

• Installed application size: approximately 90 MB

• Average initial download: approximately 4.5 GB

  • Includes the application and an average playlist of 600 songs

Content Updates

The size of updates depends on the volume of new content available.

These updates are downloaded automatically when the device has an internet connection.
