In environments with specific network configurations, it may be necessary to assign or modify the IP address of the Brandtrack Box.
This procedure is intended for users with technical knowledge or the IT team. Incorrect configuration may prevent the device from connecting to the internet.
Before you begin
You will need:
A display with an HDMI input
An HDMI cable
A USB mouse
Access to power supply
The necessary network data (IP, mask, gateway, and DNS)
Check with the IT department beforehand for the correct values.
Steps to configure a static IP
Connect the display to the Box using the HDMI cable.
Connect the USB mouse to the Box.
Connect the Box to the power supply and wait for the system to fully start.
On the main screen, open the side menu.
Click on the network connections icon.
Go to the Static IP Settings section.
Select the Static option.
Fill in the following fields with the information provided by IT:
IP Address
Subnet Mask
Gateway
DNS
Save the changes and restart the device if necessary.
Important
Incorrect configuration can leave the Box without connection.
If you do not have the correct data, do not continue with the procedure.
In most cases, it is recommended to use automatic configuration (DHCP).
Troubleshooting
If after configuring the IP:
The Box does not connect to the internet: check gateway and DNS.
Programming does not sync: confirm that the network allows outgoing connections.
No response on the network: check that the IP is not duplicated on the network.
If the problem persists, contact the internal technical team before requesting support.
