In this article, we explain in detail the Operations Section of the Analytics Panel and how to interpret each of its metrics.
This view is aimed at operations teams and shows information related to the technical performance of your zones, such as disconnections, silences during service hours, and staff feedback. It includes access to Connectivity, Silences, and Staff feedback.
From here you can search for specific locations or zones, filter the information by last week or last month, select a custom date range, and generate a downloadable report.
Operational Summary
This section monitors the health of your music across all locations, to detect issues, track connectivity, and act before they affect your customers' experience:
- Zones with silence during open hours: the number of zones that had silences during the location's open hours.
- Zones in silence now: the number of zones currently in silence.
- Song skips: the number of times a song was skipped during the selected period.
- Manual pauses: the number of times music was manually paused during the selected period.
If you haven't set up the real hours for your locations, silences are calculated using an estimated window of 09:00 to 22:00. For a more accurate report, you can confirm the real hours for each location using the "Configure hours" button.
Zone Connection
This section shows the connectivity status of your zones:
- Lowest-connection zones: the zones with the lowest connection percentage, with the option to view the full list from "View all."
- Average connection: the average connection percentage across all your zones.
- Average daily playback: the average number of hours per day your zones play music.
Silences During Service Hours
Shows a list of the silences that occurred during each location's service hours, with the date, time, and duration of each one. You can view the full list from the "View all silences" link.
Staff Feedback
Shows the ratings that on-site staff gave to the songs played, along with the reasons behind each negative rating.
Important: zones that play music through Boxes can't send staff feedback.
