Upload Your Content

In this article we explain how to upload content to Digital Signage and what formats and sizes are allowed.

Before you start

Verify that the file you want to upload:

• Does not exceed the allowed size limit.
• Is in a compatible format.
• Has a clearly identified name.

Steps to upload files

1. Go to the Files / Assets tab inside the platform.
2. Click Upload files.
3. Select one of the following options:
   • Drag and drop files.
   • Import from your device.
   • Browse manually for the file on your device.
4. Wait for the upload process to complete before closing the window.

Supported file types

Images

• JPG
• PNG
• BMP
• GIF

Videos

• AVI
• MP4

Documents

• PDF
• DOC
• DOCX

Presentations and spreadsheets

• PPTX
• XLS
• XLSX

OpenOffice files

• All formats compatible with OpenOffice.

Online content

• Google Docs
• Google Sheets
• Google Slides
• YouTube
• Instagram
• Twitter

Important

• The maximum size per individual file is 1 GB.
• The total limit for playlists is 2 GB.
• If you need to upload a file that exceeds these limits, contact support@brandtrack.fm.

Troubleshooting

If the file does not upload, check the following:

• That the format is compatible.
• That it does not exceed the size limit.
• That your internet connection is stable.
