In Brandtrack, there are two different environments that serve distinct functions:
the Brandtrack Player App, which plays the music, and MyBrandtrack (management panel), where all the content that will later be played is configured.
Understanding this difference is key to avoiding configuration errors.
What is the Brandtrack Player App?
The Brandtrack Player App is the application installed on the physical device where the music will be played (tablet, phone, or dedicated device).
Its functions are:
Play the previously assigned content.
Execute the scheduling configured in the panel.
Keep the playback active in the corresponding Zone.
The app is not used to configure music.
It only executes what was previously defined in the management panel.
What is MyBrandtrack (management panel)?
MyBrandtrack is the platform where all music configuration is managed.
From the panel, you can:
Create and manage Zones (spaces where music is played).
Create Groups (sets of Zones that share configuration).
Assign playlists.
Create Schedules (programming calendars).
Assign content to Zones.
Only people with enabled credentials and permissions can access the panel.
How They Work Together
The configuration is done in MyBrandtrack.
Content is assigned to a Zone.
The Brandtrack Player App, installed on the device of that Zone, automatically plays the configured content.
If content is not assigned in the panel, the app will not play music.
