In this article we explain what a group is and how it helps you manage multiple zones at the same time.
A group allows you to assign music and ads to multiple zones simultaneously. Instead of configuring each zone individually, you can group them and apply the same content in one step.
To access groups, log in to MyBrandtrack and in the side menu go to the Zones section. There you will find the Groups tab.
How does a group work?
When you assign playlists, schedules, or ads to a group, that configuration is automatically applied to all zones included. If you update the group's content, all zones are updated at the same time.
Practical example
Imagine you have three locations and want all of them to play the same playlist, the same ads, and on the same schedule. Instead of configuring each one separately:
- Create a group.
- Add those zones to the group.
- Assign the music and ads to the group.
From that point on, everything you configure in the group will automatically apply to all included zones.
When to use a group?
- When multiple locations share the same sound identity.
- When you want to apply content changes to multiple zones at once.
- Ideal for chains, franchises, or spaces with similar programming.
