A Zone represents a specific area of your establishment or an independent location where you want music or announcements to be played.
Each Zone can have its own schedule, playlists, volume, and content without affecting other spaces.
This allows you to control the sound experience individually in each environment.
What does a Zone allow?
A Zone allows you to:
Play different music in each space.
Assign Schedules with different times.
Configure independent content by store, branch, or area.
Manage specific announcements per environment.
Simply put:
A Zone = an environment or store with independent sound.
Practical examples
Hotel
You can create:
A Zone for the lobby with calm music.
Another Zone for the restaurant.
Another Zone for the spa.
Each space will have its own schedule.
Retail / Stores
Each store can be configured as an independent Zone.
Example:
Store 1
Store 2
Store 3
Each one can have its own music and settings.
When should you create a new Zone?
You should create a new Zone whenever you need to:
Play different music in a space.
Set playlists or announcements with different schedules.
Manage branches or areas individually.
If two spaces require different settings, they should be separate Zones.
How is a Zone connected?
Each Zone must be linked to a playback method.
It can play audio from:
The Brandtrack Player App, installed on a device.
A Brandtrack physical Box, connected to the audio system.
Once linked, the Zone will automatically start playing the music and announcements configured in the management panel.
