How to connect your SONOS speakers to Brandtrack Player App

In this article we explain how to use Brandtrack Player App with a SONOS speaker.

Brandtrack does not currently have a direct integration with SONOS. However, you can use AirPlay as an alternative to stream audio from an iOS device to your SONOS speaker.

Before you start

• You need an iOS device (iPhone or iPad).
• Your SONOS speaker must be AirPlay compatible.
• Both devices must be connected to the same WiFi network.
• Brandtrack Player App must be open and playing content.

How to stream audio via AirPlay

1. On your iOS device, swipe down from the top right corner to open the Control Center.
2. Press the audio playback control.
3. Select the AirPlay option.
4. Choose your SONOS device from the available list.

Once selected, Brandtrack audio will start playing through your SONOS speaker.

If you don't hear any sound

• Check that the SONOS speaker volume is turned up.
• Confirm that AirPlay is connected to the correct device.
• Make sure Brandtrack Player App is active and playing content.
• Verify that both devices are on the same WiFi network.

Note: this is a streaming alternative, not a native integration. If the WiFi connection is interrupted, the AirPlay stream may stop.
