How to change the download storage location in the playback app

In this article, we explain how to change the storage location for content downloaded by the Brandtrack Player App.

All content played by the Brandtrack Player App is downloaded to the device beforehand. This ensures the music never stops even if the internet connection is briefly lost. However, it's important for the device to always have a connection so it can receive content updates.

If you need the content to download to a different folder, follow these steps:

How to Change the Storage Location

1. Open the Brandtrack Player App on your device and tap the settings button.

2. In settings, select the "Download location" option.

3. You'll see the folder where downloaded content is currently stored. To change it, tap "Change location" and select the new folder where you want the downloaded content to be stored.

Important: previously downloaded content can't be moved to a different folder. This change only applies to content downloaded from that point forward.
