In this article we explain what a schedule is and what it is used for in MyBrandtrack.
A schedule allows you to program which playlist plays at each time of day and on which days of the week. With this tool you can create a music experience consistent with the atmosphere and customer flow, without needing to change the music manually.
Types of schedules
In MyBrandtrack there are two types of schedules:
- Essential schedules: schedules already created by our music team. You can assign them directly to your zones or groups, but you cannot edit them or request any modifications.
- Custom schedules: schedules created by you or by the music team on request. You can edit them, modify their timeslots, and adapt them to your business needs.
How does a schedule work?
A schedule organizes music into timeslots. Each playlist occupies a specific timeslot of the day, and you can define:
- Start and end time.
- Days of the week it applies to.
- Which playlist will play during that timeslot.
This way, you build your music programming by timeslots, according to the atmosphere you want to create at each moment.
Programming example
- In the morning: a calm playlist, such as Chill or Jazz, from 7:00 to 10:00.
- In the afternoon: a more energetic playlist, such as Pop or Indie, from 17:00 to 21:00.
- Weekends only: timeslots that activate only on Saturdays and Sundays.
What is it used for?
A schedule allows you to:
- Adapt the music according to the time of day (opening, midday, afternoon, closing).
- Adjust it based on customer behavior (peak hours, relaxation moments).
- Create more consistent experiences without manual intervention.
- Automate changes and avoid errors or oversights.
