In this article we explain what a playlist is in MyBrandtrack and what it is used for.
A playlist is a curated collection of songs to play at your location. From MyBrandtrack you can explore, assign, and manage all playlists for your zones.
Types of playlists
- Essential playlists: curated by the Brandtrack music team. They are ready to assign directly to your zones or groups, but cannot be edited.
- Custom playlists: created on request or by you from MyBrandtrack. They are editable (you can remove songs or request a modification with our curation team) and are available only for the Advanced plan.
Duration and content
Each playlist has a specific music duration and a number of loaded songs. You can check this information by entering the playlist detail.
How do playlists play?
Playlists always play in shuffle mode through Brandtrack Player App. This avoids frequent repetitions and makes the song order unpredictable.
Important: the player inside MyBrandtrack is only for previewing content. For a playlist to play at your location, it must be assigned to a zone and play through Brandtrack Player App.
What can you do with a playlist?
- Assign it to a zone or group: so it plays at your location through Brandtrack Player App.
- Mark it as a favorite: to find it more easily inside MyBrandtrack.
- Rate it: to give us your opinion on the content and help us improve the music offering.
- Request modifications or remove a song you don't like.
