In this article we explain how to assign content to your zones or groups from MyBrandtrack.
You can assign two types of content to a zone:
- Playlists: play continuously without a defined schedule. The zone plays that playlist until you change it.
- Schedules: define which playlist plays during each timeslot of the day. They allow you to program music according to the time of day.
The content you assign is downloaded to the device's local storage. For this reason, the number of assigned items is limited. It is recommended not to exceed 5 items between playlists and schedules to avoid saturating the storage and causing the app to malfunction.
Option 1: Assign from the carousel view
Both from the Playlists section and the Schedules section, you can assign content directly from the carousel without entering the detail view. Click the three dots on the content you want to assign and select "Assign".

When you click "Assign" you will be able to choose whether to assign it to an individual zone or to a group.
Option 2: Assign from the zone detail
Go to the zone you want to configure from the Zones section in MyBrandtrack. Inside the detail you will find the Playlists and Schedules sections. Press "Add" in the section that corresponds to the type of content you want to assign.
Option 3: Assign from the group detail
Go to the group you want to assign content to from the Groups section in MyBrandtrack. Inside the detail you will see the Playlists and Schedules sections with an "Add" button next to each one. Press it and select the corresponding content.
When you are done, press "Save changes" for the content to be assigned. If you assign to a group, the changes will automatically apply to all zones linked to that group.
