In this article we explain how to remove a song from a custom playlist in MyBrandtrack.
This feature is available only for the Advanced plan. If your plan is Essential, you cannot modify playlist content. If you want access to this feature, write to support@brandtrack.fm to ask about an upgrade.
How to remove a song
Log in to MyBrandtrack, go to the Music section and click on the playlist you want to remove content from.
Once inside the playlist, find the song you want to remove. You can search for it using the search bar or scroll through the list. In the "Your Feedback" column, press the thumbs down button on that song. The song will be automatically removed from the playlist and will appear under the disliked songs filter.
Staff feedback from Brandtrack Player App
The staff at your location can also mark songs with negative feedback from Brandtrack Player App. However, that action does not remove the song from the playlist. It is only registered as negative feedback in the "Location Feedback" column.
That column shows the overall vote balance each song is receiving across all zones, expressed with faces:
- A sad face indicates that the staff has mostly voted that song negatively.
- A happy face indicates the opposite.
If you want to remove a song that the staff marked with negative feedback, you can find it by clicking "All songs" and selecting "Only disliked songs". There you will see all songs with negative feedback and you can remove them by pressing the thumbs down button in the "Your Feedback" column.
Important: if a song appears in the "Only disliked songs" section and you have already given it negative feedback, it does not mean it is still playing. It means that at some point it received negative feedback and was removed.
