In this article we show you how to share playback control of a location with the manager of that location.
This feature is available only for zones with Brandtrack Box. From MyBrandtrack you can give a person access to control the volume and choose between the playlists or schedules already assigned to that zone, without needing a MyBrandtrack account.
It is important to note that the manager cannot play any music they want — they can only choose from the content already assigned to that zone in MyBrandtrack.
Step 1: Go to Locations
Log in to MyBrandtrack and open the Locations section.
Step 2: Select the location
Click on the name of the location you want to share access to.
Step 3: Find the "Share location access" section
Inside the location, scroll to the bottom of the page until you find the "Share location access" section. There you will see the description: You will allow the Manager to access the location details and control the volume of the zones in real time.
Step 4: Share access
Click "Share access", confirm the person's details and press Continue. You will see two options to share access:
- QR code: share a photo of the QR code for them to scan and access directly.
- URL: share the link and when opened it will give access to the control.
Once the person accesses, they can control the volume and choose between the playlists or schedules assigned to the zones of that location in real time.
